Oathill block has been used extensively throughout the UK and also in major projects in Brazil, America and the Middle East. The greatest area of potential demand is around the traditional Cotswold towns and villages that are typically built in these pretty, mottled limestone colours and textures.
Over recent years, Oathill Quarry bock has been used for a wide range of projects - from new hotel developments to church restorations and from large residential new build schemes to polished floor tiles. Both beds produce excellent masonry detailing, with fireplaces, mullion windows, door mouldings and copings amongst recent masonry projects.
Oathill also produces traditional hand dressed walling and building stone much in demand for restoration and environmental conservation schemes. The growing demand for lower carbon construction practices and the appreciation of natural stone will see Oathill Quarry block used increasingly for both historic restoration and contemporary projects.
Finally, as a result of quarrying the block, the waste material produced is crushed to produce a range of Aggregates and also Agricultural Lime.
Oathill Walling Stone exudes a distinct character and creates a traditional visual reference point.
